John Frieda: Love your Locks

2 weeks ago i had an awesome opportunity to attend the John Frieda  Love Your Locks media campaign.
The event was held in Century City in one of the business parks and boy was it an adventure to find the venue haha.

Finally we arrived at the venue and was greeted with Champagne and some very tasty snacks.

This event was really an eye opener because i realized how much damage i have been doing to my hair and hindering it from growing and having that healthy glow.

It was a very educational event from blow drying techniques to how to properly iron your hair and use a tong.
I loved hearing about the 3 layers in ones hair and how to take care of each layer :)
The cuticle of the hair is the outermost layer. It is composed of a transparent, scale-like single layer of overlapping cells. The function of these overlapping, shingle-like scales is to protect the cortex. The cuticle is the protective barrier for the cortex and the medulla.

The event was amazing and it was awesome learning tricks of the trade and knowing how to get your Locks looking amazing with John Frieda Products. I also had an amazing time hanging out with my fellow Bloggers:)
