Who and what inspires you ?
Khanyi Dhlomo, she is one of the most influential and renowned women in South Africa, well educated and known for her business ventures also hails as a global renaissance woman, which I aspire to be one and inspire other women and generations

How did you come up with the idea of Thick Girl Supremacy?
I realized that the was a gap in the plus industry for plus sized models and the idea of creating a blog for plus size women to see the response, to cut long story short the Thick Girl Supremacy has become more than just a blog, it has become a brand woman can associate themselves with.
Thick Girl Supremacy is an agency that it is mainly for plus size women and being a voice for women that body shaming is in the past. A very new company that acts as an agent and a body positive voice for plus size women. Established as a plus size blog in 2015 and later into a plus size model agency early 2016
This occurs by us making events as inviting women and having motivational speakers and spending the day with women who can relate to one another.
By creating plus-size competitions to build a platform for women and receiving recognition in the corporate and fashion industry.

What are your thoughts on Body Shaming?
I believe body shaming is on the rise for women Saying No to Body Shaming

Being plus size doesn’t mean not eating healthy or keeping fit, you can lead a healthy lifestyle and still own the body that you have I know the importance of diet and exercise, you can be healthy in any body size.

Some people are just born big boned or gain weight at a later stage in life, you really don't know what other people have gone through in their life. It's not okay to call people too skinny or too fat. Love yourself and each other for who you are! I hate hearing my friends and family opt out of going to the pool or wearing swimwear cause they are too fat.

Is there a weight limit to get in the pool or be in the sun? We are all different and perfectly made, Try not to use words like "I'm too fat" "too many wrinkles" etc. We live in a world that makes you feel bad if you are happy with yourself..The number on a scale is just that, a number, not a rating. Be healthy and be you!

We should not be body shaming. We should be motivating, supporting, and encouraging each other. Until everyone realizes that, body shaming will continue to be an issue. Magazines and social media are have now acknowledged the body diversity. Body shaming is an issue that will not be solved unless everyone learns how to accept their own body. No one is perfect. There is no wrong way to have a body

Body shaming comes in all shames and forms, both large and small. I've been used to people telling me what they think about my body. I love myself, and I want other women to experience that same I have. I strongly believe that every individual needs to have inner beauty before having external beauty and total ability to embrace their body, irrespective of their size or body type .By helping plus size woman realize that beauty begins inside and that gives light to the face that cannot be duplicated by the cosmetics and jewellery in the world.
